Reporting to the Mine Technical Superintendent, you will be responsible to lead geotechnical actives within the Underground Mining Department. Monitor all geotechnical aspects of the operation with focus on undercut blasting, excavation stability.

Geotechnical Mapping for new areas and modelling and assessment for expansion and extension projects.

To be successful in the position you will have a minimum of 8 years experience in Underground Hardrock Mining.

Completed a Bachelors Degree in Engineering Geology or Engineering Science, Geology or Mining Engineering with postgrad in geotechnical engineering.

Have proven understanding of mine geotechnical process and software.
